I would describe myself as a guy who, each year, is trying to be more honest with myself and, by extension, more honest with the people I chose to have in my life as friends.

As my title says, I'm interested in making a life-long friend. That means someone who I can talk to regularly if we are long distance, or someone I can hang out with in person if we live in proximity to one another. The qualities I appreciate in a friend are honesty, a certain level of silliness and ability to laugh at themselves and a deep curiosity about the world. Oh, and about that last part of my title.
