...an artistically driven soul lacking the time and resources to actualize most of my vision, and a voracious reader and much slower writer.

I'm admittedly very shy and tend to be withdrawn socially unless I know the person well or am pulled out of my shell by conversing in a topic of interest.

My work schedule leaves me with little free time and a strange schedule (my weekends are in the middle of the work week), and leaves me unsure if I have the time to genuinely commit to a long-term relationship. Instead, I'm looking for who is out there and seeing where things lead.

Something unusual - trying something slightly out of the normal routine for both parties. Not something as outside-the-norm as parachuting, but something not in the routine - visiting a museum never visited before or renting a canoe for the afternoon, then discussing it afterwards over tea or coffee (I prefer tea, personally).

Cheeky or cliche as it sounds, I seek individuals whose energy - vibe, qi, whatever you want to call it - resonates with mine. Where we end up is a function of how we gel as two people. And I mean that bit about two people - I don't believe in seeking a "better half" or someone "to complete me" - I believe in finding a partner who complements me and whom I complement, whether it be as friends or lovers.
